Revolution iLink SL Factory
The World of Mountainbike tested our brand new Revolution iLink SL Factory on the trails. The big difference to the other MTB Fullies lies in the InsideLink technology developed by Corratec. This technology has an unique VPP system with a tight rear end without any lockout. No wonder that the bike is ridden by professional World Cup winners. Read the detailed WOM test report here.
The Frame
A high-quality extreme Superlight frame with a frame weight of less than 2000 grams including shock is one of the lightest Corratec mountain bikes on the market. What is special about the iLink SL Factory is the new kinematics of the Inside Link System, which shifts the virtual pivot point under the chain line. This means that there is no load on the damper under pedal load and therefore the system does not compress. When pressure is applied to the chain and the chain tension increases, the rear end becomes taut. This is the reason why you can always drive with an opened damper with the Inside Link System.
The Components
"Thanks to the RockShox Reverb AXS one has a maximum safety at all times thanks to the perfect saddle height. Shifting is done electronically with a SRAM XX1 Eagle 1x12. The RockShox SID Ultimate offers 100mm of travel and responds very sensitively. The travel of the fork can be adjusted at any time using the RockShox rotary handle block and release it anytime. The rear end is dampened by 100mm travel through a RockShox Deluxe RCT shock absorber. © WOM
On the Trail
The Revolution iLink SL Factory runs very smoothly and easily drives forward when pedaling. The reach of 445 millimeters for RH 44 is responsible for the absolutely sporty seating position. Thanks to the not too shallow steering angle of 69 degrees, the bike always ensures good handling, especially in uphill, and brings a lot of agility downhill. Due to the steep 76 seat angle, a central position on the iLink can always be assumed even on steep tracks, which means that a lot of power can be brought to the front wheel. The rear end chassis provides great responsiveness. © WOM
