Equipped with Shadow Edge Tube 2.0 technology, the bike has the world's most stable and secure corratec e-bike frame. The Shadow Edge Tube technology ensures that the battery disappears completely in the down tube. With this unique technology, the battery is additionally protected by an elegant frame cover, which is attached to the battery with a sliding system which is glass fiber reinforced and can therefore be removed at any time. To assemble the battery, it is simply inserted into the down tube and locked with the lock. This special mechanism ensures that the battery sits bomb-proof in the frame and does not rattle even with heavy rumble. Removing the battery is just as easy and uncomplicated; after opening the lock, the battery falls out a few millimeters. An additional fuse must then be released by hand before the battery can be removed completely. All in all a clean, reliable and safe solution. But not only the functionality of the integrated down tube battery convinces across the board, the elegant and tidy look inspires the E-MTB world.

 The equipment with mudguards, luggage rack and lighting system is harmonious and you are always rattle-free on rough roads. The Schwalbe tires with the Smart Sam studded tires provide plenty of grip and traction. The spring-loaded aluminum frame is equipped with a damper, which is adjustable and lockable. In addition, shifting is done with a Shimano Deore XT 11 and the built-in Bosch Purion display underlines the sporty claim.

According to ElektroRad, the MTC 120 Elite particularly impresses with its built-in suspension, which feels very comfortable during the test and responds particularly well. The bike is agile and runs very stable while riding. With luggage on the rear carrier, the MTC stoically stays on track and the Bosch battery integrated in the housing behaves surprisingly quiet. The Purion display in particular works reliably as usual and is very easy to use. The 29er Smart Sam studded tires were particularly convincing for plenty of traction and effortless rollover. Roadworthiness is particularly unique because with its integrated lighting system and additional mudguards, the bike is ideally suited for everyday use in traffic.
