Velomotion tested our brand new e-Power RS 160 Pro in the category E-MTB. Our model was rated with very good. According to the magazine is our bike a super companion for demanding trails. Because of its good nature, which provides an enormous level of security, and its modern geometry, it is a real fun machine.

Thanks to the equipped Shadow Edge Tube 2.0 technology the bike has the most stable and secure Corratec e-bike frame in the world. With this technology, the frame not only disappears completely in the down tube, but is also protected by an elegant frame cover. The battery can be easily removed and attached thanks to the glass fiber reinforced sliding system. This special mechanism ensures that the battery does not rattle even when there is a lot of rumbling and sits bombproof in the frame. This technology makes it easy and straightforward to remove the battery. After opening the lock, the battery fails a few millimeters. The battery can be removed completely by manually removing the fuse. With its elegant and neat look, the e-bike inspires across the board.

The engine has become significantly lighter and leaner. This is due to the latest generation of the Bosch Performance Line CX motor. Support has also been increased slightly. Thanks to the combination with the new Shadow Edge Tube 2.0 technology, the Bosch PowerTube 625Wh battery disappears seamlessly into the down tube. The engine is optimally ventilated and protected by our self-developed underride protection, the Integrated Engine Technology. Due to a wheel gap, 29-inch wheels are used at the front and 27.5+ wheels at the rear. The result is enormous traction and a decent feed on difficult slopes. The spring-loaded aluminum frame is equipped with a Rockshox 35 Gold RL Debon Air Boost 160mm, which is adaptable and lockable.
