BK30 T47A Bottom Bracket
The T47A Bottom Bracket combines the
best of the T47 and BB standards. With an
asymmetrical configuration – T47 external
bearing cup on the drive side and T47 internal
cup on the non-drive side – it offers flexibility
for various crank spindles such as 30
mm, 29 mm DUB, 22/24 mm GXP, and 24
mm Shimano. -
29" Wheel Size
Large wheels roll better. 29 inches require about eight percent less energy than the 26-inch version. The 29“ wheel takes longer to get going, but rolls easily and quickly over rocks and roots, which brings an additional advantage – more comfort.
Larger wheels roll over obstacles more easily. The ability of a wheel to roll over obstacles is proportional to its size. A 29" wheel, which is about 10% larger than a 26" wheel, can roll over 10% larger obstacles. The larger diameter wheels have more angular momentum so they lose less speed to obstacles and rough sections.
29" bikes tend to offer taller riders a more "natural" frame geometry.

THROUGH AXLE
Through-axles have the advantage that they are larger in diameter than conventional 9 mm axles and thus are significantly stiffer.

BK30 Boost-Standard
The Boost standard enhances the stiffness
and stability of bicycle wheels
through wider hub flanges and steeper
spoke angles. This results in more effective
and precise bike handling. The wider
rear end allows for even shorter chainstays,
further increasing agility. The bearing
points can be made wider and therefore
stiffer, improving the frame‘s robustness.
Additionally, the wider rear hub enables a
greater variety of chainrings and increases
clearance at both the fork and rear
end, which is particularly beneficial when
using wider tyres. -
